语料库在市场营销行业英语教学中的应用——以营销计划的教学为例

摘要 本文尝试将语料库应用于市场营销行业英语教学,围绕营销计划这一话题,探讨主题词表、核心主题词网络和语块研究在课堂教学中的具体应用。本研究建设了一个由30份营销计划范例构成的小型营销计划语料库,通过Wordsmith工具,首先提取主题词和核心主题词,然后,绘出主题词网络图,讨论其应用方法;最后,调查分析核心主题词marketing的典型类联接形式及搭配实例,探讨语块教学。该教学应用,有利于学生更好地掌握营销行业英语中的主题词和专业核心语块,加深对语篇的理解,有效促进学习。 This paper attempts to apply corpus to the teaching of professional English for marketing. Centering around the topic of marketing plans, it explores the concrete applications of key word lists, key-key word networks and chunks research method in classroom teaching. A corpus comprised of 30 sample marketing plans is built for the study. The key words and key-key words are first computed with Wordsmith Tools, and then the Key-key word networks of the marketing plan are created. The procedures for their applications are also suggested. Finally, to explore the teaching of key chunks, the main colligation patterns of key-key word 'marketing' and the corresponding collocation instances are investigated and analyzed and the method for concrete application is also provided. These applications contribute to a better command of the keywords and specialized chunks in professional English formarketing, and a deeper understanding of the discourse under discussion, and thus they effectively help to improve learning.
