摘要
本文以Ferris与Truscott二语写作语法纠错之争为研究对象,首先简述该论争的过程,并介绍Truscott反对语法纠错的理由以及Ferris对Truscott主要论点的质疑,进而剖析双方在理论基础、实证研究和教学经验等问题上的差异,以期对该议题的未来研究有所启发。
Taking the Ferris-Truscott debate on grammar correction in L2 writing as its object, the current article, after a brief description of the process of the debate, presents Truscott's case against and Ferris' s case for written corrective feedback, and then brings out the differences of both parties in their theoretical basis, empirical research and teaching experience in L2 writing, which is expected to inspire more research on this issue in the future.
