对马克·吐温小说《哈克贝利·费恩历险记》的种族分析与解读,一直存在着不同,有时甚至是极为相左的观点。本文运用功能语言学和语料库技术相结合的方法,通过对文中黑人和白人词汇的索引分析,探索小说中所蕴含的种族思想,力图将主观的印象式的解读建立在客观的语言分析基础之上。

Different or even opposite views on racial problems in Mark Twain's Adventures of Huckleberry Finn have been raised by researchers for generations. This paper seeks to explore the racial attitudes of the author through the analysis of black and white words emerging in the novel by employing both functional linguistics and corpus method, which aims at building the subjective interpretation on objective analysis.
