连云港保卫战中东北军统战工作的主要特点与历史贡献

The Characteristics and Historical Contribution of the United Front in the Northeast Army during the Defence of Lianyungang

1938年2月至9月,东北军57军112师驻防连云港,在半年多的时间里,先后作战30余次,成功阻止了日军登陆,策应了徐州会战,延迟了华东重要港口连云港的沦陷时间。在此期间,以伍志钢为书记,谷牧、李欣为委员的中共东北军112师地下工委,通过招收新兵队的形式,大量吸收中共党员、"民先"队员和进步青年进入东北军,接受政治、军事训练,积极开展统战工作,极大地提高了东北军官兵的政治素质和抗战热情,为连云港保卫战的胜利和东北军坚持长期敌后抗战,作出了突出贡献,体现了鲜明的时代特色。

The 112 thDivision of the 57 thNortheast Army was garrisoned in Lianyungang from February to September,1938. During this period,to prevent Japanese enemies＇ landing, it conducted more than 30 battles,which has delayed the falling of Lianyungang,a very important port in the eastern China. Their operations also acted in concert with the Xu Zhou Campaign. Meanwhile, the CPC underground working committee of the 112 th Division, of which WU Zhigang was the secretary and GU Mu and LI Xin were the members, recruited a large number of communists,members of the Vanguard of the National Liberation,and progressive youth,who took political and military training in the troop and then built a united front with the soldiers of the Northeast Army. By improving the political quality and the battle ardour of the soldiers,they made a tremendous contribution to the defence of Lianyungang and to the future long-term resistance of the Northeast Army behind enemy lines.
