Basing on further investigation of the art features, it used field research and literature approa- ches to analyze the wood carving painting themes and techniques of Bozhou Huaxi Building wood carving painting in this paper, from art image shaping to artistic features. Conclusion can drawn that the wood painting was rich in subject matter, integrated in content and profound in cultural spirit connotation. Di- verse structure types and vivid art forms, with a strong geographical and cultural characteristics and cultur- al value of art, showed the connotation of the three-kingdom operas the high degree of unity of cultural meaning and artistic form and the distinctive artistic characteristics, which have very important value and meaning to the construction of contemporary architectural culture.
