Existential Challenges and Ecological Optimization of Chinese Traditional Sports Culture

从文化生态学视角审视中国民族传统体育文化的"生存困境",探寻其发展之道。研究认为:中国民族传统体育文化由于自身原因,在现代西方体育文化强势冲击下,逐渐被边沿化,陷入生存危机,有其必然性,符合文化发展的一般规律;但是危机也是转机,同样由于自身原因,中国民族传统体育文化并未从根本上丧失生命力,其生态是可以优化、改造和重建的,经过生态优化,完全可以浴火重生,展现光明的发展前景;加强理论研究和实践探索,优化民族传统体育文化生态,是中国体育界、文化界和教育界的历史使命。

In view of the existential challenges coming from the impacts from the western sports and from the problems of itself, the Chinese traditional sports culture should realize that its vitality lies in the improvement of its ecological environment and rebuilding. It still has a bright future and will carry on the mission of cultural heritage.
