The social stability of resource-exhausted cities,not only affect the sustainable development of the city itself,but also related to the healthy development of national economy and the stability in the country.The social stability problem of resource-exhausted cities has become the important practical problems in front of the local government,this article takes H province as an example on study the local social stability mechanism of resource-exhausted cities,it has important practical significance for the construction of a harmonious society.
