摘要
Within its 9.6 million square kilometers, some of China's 56 nationalities live together over vast isolated areas while others live in small concentrated communities. Although the larger ones inhabit several provinces, multiple groups dwell together in some localities is common. This mixing over centuries of migration, communication, trade and integration among the Chinese "minzu,", when added to disparity in geography, climate, lifestyle and social development, have given rise to different cultural features. The resulting contributions range across the fields of art and architecture, to storytelling, dance.
