摘要
就硫酸钙晶须对纸张性能及其留着率的影响,从晶须规格和成形网方面进行了研究,结果显示:网目越大留着率越高,但并非越大越好,应与造纸实际应用相结合,选用多层80目滤网具有一定的可行性,晶须直径增大,留着率随之增加,直径1.5~2.2μm的#5晶须留着率达到76.739%;若晶须呈片状形态则留着最低。长径比越大纸张强度性能越好,长径比〉40的。4晶须其抗张强度、耐折度、撕裂度分别提高了10.88%、2.42%、61.81%。最终确定晶须直径2~2.5μm、长径比〉40,成形网以单层网300目和多层网80目的效果较好。
The effect of Calcium Sulfate Whisker (CSW) on the paper properties and the retention rate was studied in terms of the CSW sizes and the forming fabric. The results showed that the retention rate increased with the number of meshes of the forming fabric, This, however, did not suggest that the greater the number of meshes, the more desirable effect will be achieved. The number of meshes should be determined by also considering the actual paper-making conditions. It is generally practical to use a multi-layered 80-mesh filter screen, The retention rate increased with the CSW diameter, The retention rate of #5 CSW with a diameter of 1.5-2.2 μm reached 76.739%. The flake-like CSW displayed the minimum retention rate. The paper properties improved as the ratio of length to diameter of C SW increased. The tensile index, folding strength and tear index of#4 C SW with a ratio of length to diameter greater than 40 increase by 10.88%, 2.42% and 61.81%, respectively. It is determined in this study that the preferable paper-making conditions are as follows: CSW with a diameter of 2-2.5 μm and a ratio of length to diameter greater than 40, a single-layered 300 mesh forming fabric or a multi-layered 80 mesh forming fabric.
