摘要
文章"悬搁"雷蒙德·卡佛文学作品的一系列历史评价,如"极简主义""肮脏现实主义"等标签,借助卡佛多篇"开放的文本",直观地分析其笔下碎片化的人物角色及其精神状态,揭示出卡佛不同寻常的冷漠的文学气质。同时,透过卡佛灰色调的白描手法,文章经过分析还发现卡佛的作品另一部分重要的价值在于反抗"美国梦"对人性的压抑与异化,寄托其温情的自我救赎,通过反抗与自我救赎其作品隐喻的精神境界得以实现。
The article will suspend a series of historical evaluations of Raymond Carver' s literary works, such as "minimalism" and "dirty realism", but reveal their existential value of the characters' in some short fictions made by Carver, through the analysis of the direct experiences in Carver' s time. Carver' s indifferent literal temperament that forms his unique gray tone with the help of line drawing unfolds its real aim that the sufferings and panics of the common people are the accesses to his tender self - salvation underlying the despair "American dream", which realizes the spiritual metaphor in his literal works.
