Agricultural Biodiversity in China: Crisis and Causes

当前,全球农业生物多样性危机愈演愈烈,并日趋严重地制约或威胁经济社会可持续发展。文章阐述了现阶段中国农业生境多样性、农业动植物(品种)多样性、农田物种多样性及外来生物入侵等诸多层面的危机表现,分析指出思想认识滞后、城乡发展粗放、农业生境恶化以及自然灾害与气候变化等是导致农业生物多样性危机的最主要因素,得出创新发展理念和方式是保障农业生物多样性安全之关键所在。

The crisis of agro-biodiversity in the world is becoming even more violent, and it is restricting and threatening the sustainable development of economy and society increasingly at present. The crisis performance of all level at this stage in China was discussed in the paper, such as diversity of agro-ecology environment, diversity of agro-animal and plant （varieties）, biodiversity of farmland, invasion of foreign biology and so on. Main causes leading to the crisis of agro-biodiversity were analyzed and pointed out, including backward thinking, rough development of city and countryside, agro-ecology and environment worsening, natural disasters and climate changes, etc. The key points to ensure the security of agro-biodiversity were also emphasized, that is, innovating concept and way of development.
