Review of Moving Target Tracking

运动目标跟踪的任务是准确、鲁棒和实时地获取序列图像中的感兴趣目标,然而目标跟踪系统中存在许多固有限制因素。针对运动目标跟踪的研究任务和复杂性,讨论分析了传统运动目标跟踪方法的优劣,阐述了各方法的最新发展。研究了当前目标跟踪领域的2个热点方向,并提出了基于多条件约束的目标跟踪技术方案。对基于序列图像的运动目标跟踪技术的发展趋势进行了展望。

The top priority of moving targets tracking is extracting the objects interested accurately, robustly and in real-time. However, caused by the variety of targets, the complexity of scene and universality of application requirements, target tracking systems are suffering restriction for further development. Aiming at the tasks and difficulties in target tracking, this review was carried out to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of mainstream methods proposed currently and to summary about pros and cons of each method were given as well. On this basis, the review generalized several key issues in the future development of target tracking. To better solve these issues, we delved into two hot topics in the targets tracking research and raised a technical proposal of multi-targets tracking based on multiple constraints. Furthermore, the trends and promising prospects in moving targets tracking were presented.
