关于居间广义量词“few”的广义三段论的有效性

The Validity of Generalized Syllogisms of the Intermediate Generalized Quantifier “Few”

在自然语言中,存在大量的各种各样的广义量词,其中一种被称为居间量词。利用广义量词理论给出居间量词的语义定义,再利用集合论证明广义三段论的有效性,这一研究方法也适用于研究关于其他广义量词的广义三段论的有效性;为有助于自然语言信息处理,提出并证明了居间广义量词few的12个有效的广义三段论。

There are a great number of generalized quantifiers of all kinds in natural languages,one of which is named intermediate quantifiers. The semantic definitions of intermediate quantifiers are firstly given by means of generalized quantifier theory,and then set theory is utilized to prove the validity of generalized syllogisms. This research method is also applicable to the validity of generalized syllogisms including other generalized quantifiers. 12 valid generalized syllogisms including the intermediate generalized quantifier few are proposed and proved in this paper. It is hoped that the original findings will make contributions to natural language information processing.
