从闽北传统民居装饰的"三雕"艺术和彩绘装饰符号等方面展开,浅析闽北传统民居建筑装饰符号。建筑符号学是建立在语言符号学的基础上发展起来的,其本身也蕴含着建筑句法学、建筑语义学、建筑的语用学的基本特点和属性,建筑符号学在使用过程中同样受自然和社会文化因素的影响而表现出地域差异性。闽北传统民居建筑装饰符号在这种地区差异性和独特性影响下,形成自身的符号体系。如同人类的语言体系,闽北民居装饰符号作为一种独特的代码,传递给我们有关闽北传统民俗文化的信息。

Unfolded from aspects such as North Fujian＂three carves＂of traditional residence decoration art and color drawing decora-tion symbols, this paper makes simple analysis on traditional residence decoration symbols in North Fujian. Architectural semiology is de-veloped based on linguistic semiotics, itself contains the basic characteristics of and attributes of architectural syntactic, architectural se-mantics, architectural pragmatics, architectural semiology also shows its regional differences by influence of natural and social cultural fac-tors in the process of using. Fujian traditional residence decoration symbols forms its own system of symbols under the influence of the re-gional difference and uniqueness. Like the human language system, the northern residences decoration symbols as an unique code, passed to us information of traditional folk culture of the northern Fujian.
