Mr. Zhang Chuting ’ s thought on the teachers ’ scholarship governance is mainly embodied in the words of “human beings and learning”,which is about the pursuit and exploration of the human beings in the u- niversity for learning. During this process, teachers regard learning as their academic life, not only as their own individual lives, but also as the life of school and university. The carrier of the teachers ’ academic life is teaching, and teaching is a process of imparting knowledge to the students creatively, communicating with the students from heart and soul, as well as the development of new curriculum. Academic research is the flowing water source of the teachers ’ academic life, which not only can promote the teaching effectively, but also create more material and spiritual wealth. The value of teachers＊ academic life is reflected in social services, and its favorable protection is academic freedom.
