Characteristics and Enlightenment of IT Talent Training in Indian Institute of Technology

印度理工学院素有"卓越工程师的摇篮"之美誉,特别是其IT人才的培养,对印度经济腾飞起了举足轻重之作用,在国际上也久负盛名。在对印度理工学院概况介绍的基础上,试从培养目标、培养内容和培养方式三个方面来探析其IT人才培养特点,以期对我国目前应用技术型大学的建设有所借鉴。

Indian Institute of Technology is known as ＂the cradle of excellence engineers＂, especially itsIT talent training which plays a very important role for the economic boom in India and also enjoys a highreputation all over the world. On the basis of the introduction of Indian Institute of Technology, the thesistries to analyze its IT talent training characteristics from three aspects： training target, training content andtraining mode, so as to provide some references and enlightenment for the construction ofapplication-oriented university in China.
