通过控制唤醒程度,分别匹配情绪效价和动机,检验情绪对注意的调节。实验1发现高动机愉快组被试比低动机愉快组在整体局部任务中进行总体匹配的项目少,意味着高动机愉快组具有更窄的注意范围。实验2发现低动机强度的悲伤情绪对注意范围存在窄化效应,证明了效价理论的合理性。
Past research may have confounded affective valence with motivational intensity. In the current study, we investigated the effect of emotion on attentional scope considering the influence of affective valence and motivational intensity. Experiment 1 found that positive affects high in motivational intensity caused a narrowing of attentional focus. In contrast, positive affects low in motivational intensity caused a broadening of attentional focus. Experiment 2 explored the attentional consequences of negative affect low in motivational intensity(sadness) relative to a neutral affective state. Results indicated that low-motivation negative affect caused attentional narrowing.
