On the Problem of Rain Contact Amount When Walking in the Rain

"没带伞的孩子必须跑得快"这句俗语告诉我们,下雨天如果没有带伞,就必须跑得快,这样才能避免多淋雨.但是,通过数理分析计算发现,跑得快并不一定会少淋雨,进而给出一种更加合理的避免多淋雨的方法.

As a proverb goes, he who has no umbrella must go fast. A basic proposition in this proverb is that the only way of reducing rain contact is to go fast. However, statistical analysis demonstrates that this proposition is not necessarily true and a more reasonable solution of minimizing rain contact is provided in this paper.
