早期《新青年》“反传统”之辨--以1915-1916年《青年杂志》为例

Analysis on "Anti-tradition" Showed in Early New Youth——Taking Youth Magazine(1915-1916) as a Case

"反传统"似已成为《新青年》最显著的思想标签之一,但对于"反传统"一词或许存在着某种"误解"。以早期《新青年》为例审视之,一是作为早期《新青年》"反传统"主要表征的"反孔非儒"在一定程度上掩盖了"反传统"的其他维度;二是在"反孔非儒"这一具体行为上,《新青年》在"反传统"之时与"传统"之间充满了矛盾与纠葛。因此,酝酿于特定语境中的"反传统"在"表象"之下,有其内在的丰富性与复杂性以及广阔的阐释空间。

＂Anti-tradition＂ has practically been the most striking label of New Yoatll, however, there might remain a misunderstanding about the word ＂anti-tradition＂. Taking the early New Youth as an example, the following two aspects merit our attention. Firstly, as the main manifestation of ＂anti-tradition＂ showed in the early New Youth, ＂anti-Confucianism＂ seemed to cover up other dimensions of ＂anti-tradition＂. Secondly, concerning the specific behavior of ＂anti-Confucianism＂, New Youth had a complicated and contradictory relationship with ＂tradition＂. Therefore, ＂anti-tradition＂, which emerged in a certain context, had its inherent richness, offering a wide space for new interpretation.
