曹雪芹采取对比方法描写人物。使宝钗分别与黛玉、宝玉、探春、众人对比,附带贾宝玉与甄宝玉对比,从而主要鉴别宝钗以及并举人物的形象性格和思想品质,并见作者的美刺褒贬倾向。

Cao Xueqin makes comparisons in describing the characters. Baochai is compared with Daiyu, Baoyu,Tan Chun and the other figures;Jia Baoyu is compared with Zhen Baoyu. Thus the characteristics and morali- ties of the figures identification as well as the aesthetic tendency of the author are highlighted.
