《黄雀记》是苏童沉寂四年之后,首推的一部长篇力作。作者立足于自己的童年视角,借助文学地理坐标——香椿树街,构筑了一桩围绕青少年成长的"黄雀记"。小说透过宗教意义上"罪与罚"轮回的隐喻、充满魅惑幽静的"绳索"及"失魂"意象的隐喻,以及不同季节对应的三个主要人物的隐喻,用精雕细刻的笔触勾画了保润、柳生、仙女三人的成长故事和命运纠葛,实现了小说隐喻式的写作。

＂ The Yellowbird＂ is Su Tong＇ s important novel after four years of silence. Based on his childhood perspective, with the aid of the literary geographic coordinates - Xiangchunshu Street, the author has created the story of adolescent growth. Through the metaphor of religious ＂crime and punishment＂ transmigration, the ＂rope＂ and ＂lost souls＂ imagery metaphors, as well as the metaphor of three main characters corresponding to the different seasons, the novel sketches the growth stories of Baorun, Liusheng and Xiannu as well as their fate entanglements, implements the metaphor writing of the novel.
