摘要
本文基于对大学外语的课堂讨论之探讨,通过调查和教学实践,分析出老师在组织课堂讨论中存在的三个共性问题,一是学生在讨论中易于用母语代替外语;二是学生易于由老师指定的题目流向自由讨论而跑题;三是由于长时间保持沉默而易于变成母语聊天。问题的症结归因于学生缺乏在用外语进行讨论的技巧把握上的知识和经验欠缺,同时无法流利地用外语展开讨论和对用外语展开讨论有不适感。基于此,阐述了老师在课堂讨论中制定具体的原则的重要性,并结合教学实践,提出了提高其有效性的方法与对策。
Based on the study on classrrom discussion in the for-eign languages teaching, by the investigation and practical teach-ing, it points out three common problems in organizing the dis-cussion. First, students use Chinese instead of the aim language. Second, students engage in a free conversation instead of the as-signed topic. Third, students engage in a Chinese free talk due to initial periods of silence. It analyzes that the causes of the prob-lems are attributed to the knowledge and experience lackness of discussion rules and techniques, disfluency to hold a discussion in an aim language, and uncomfort to hold a discussion. It pre-sents the importance of making specific rules and offers methods and strategies on managing the problems in classroom discussion.
