Positive exploration into the theory and methods of combat-oriented teaching of engi-neering equipment is of great importance for the enhancement of training quality of talents in combat-oriented exercise conditions.The paper analyzes basic concept and connotation of the combat-oriented teaching,illustrates the position and role of combat-oriented teaching of engineering equipment and brings out the method and approach in five respects including updating teaching concept,optimizing teaching contents,changing teaching mode,creating a teaching environment and inspecting teaching effect to conduct the practices in the area.
