浅谈“两个尺度”的问题

马克思关于“美的规律”的提法是马克思美学理论中一段极为重要的论述,然而对于其中“内在的尺度”究属谁的尺度却众说纷纭。本文从比较各家译文入手,指出问题的症结在于中文译词和德文原文词义不完全对等上。根据中文译词词义,则理解为“物种的尺度”和“人的尺度”均无不可。但根据德文词义的特定含义,则“内在尺度”只能理解为“物种的尺度”。

Marx' s formulation of the 'rules of beauty' is one of the Key viewpoints in the framework of his aesthetic theory, However, the wording of 'internal scale' has brought forth a multiplicity of different understandings as to which kind of 'scale' it is. This paper maintains that the problem lies in the reciprocity failure between the Chinese version and the German original in terms of word meaning by a comparative study of some of the famous translators'versions. The Chinese version can be understood as either 'species scale' or 'human scale', but the German original defines it as nothing but 'species scale'.
