目的论视角下《文学兴国策》翻译策略研究

摘要 目的论认为,根据特定的翻译目的,译者可以发挥主体性采取不同的翻译策略。在晚清特定的社会历史文化语境下,《文学兴国策》的译介有着特殊的目的。译者从文化名词的本土化改写、语言风格的中国化以及句式表达的修辞转换这三方面着手,使译著在读者群中大受欢迎,不仅实现译介西方教育观念的目的,也强化了原著中的宗教思想,进而实现了传教的目的。 The skopos theory holds that translators can make use of various translation strategies by their own subjectivity in orderto meet particular purposes . And the translating of Education in Japan has its own purposes in the specialized historicaland cultural background of the late Qing Dynasty. By rewriting the culture-related nouns in local and making the language ofChinese characteristics as well as shifting the rhetorical questions of sentence, the translator manages to make the version popularamong target readers, which bring in the western educational concepts. What’smore, the translator succeeds in preachingChristianity by retaining and strengthening the religious thoughts.
