Ahad Ha-am was an important thinker and leader of Zionism movement. He emphasized the status and function of Jewish culture and spirit in the Zionism movement. This brought about some new opinions, such as the cause of Zionism, the nature and place of future country. He also took part in the Zionism movement by carrying out education practice, contributing a lot to the development and success of Zionism movement. His thought was not only accepted by Jews faithful to Judaism and Jewish culture as another choice and also served as a guide for the construction of Israel as a nation.
