明代郭正域"博通载籍",创作丰富。其诗歌批评"不媚于大家"、少泛泛之言,多深警之语。主张诗歌创作应该符合"温柔敦厚"传统,同时要神貌合一、形成自身创作特色。这些诗学观念散见于其批点的《杜律选》中。

Guo Zhengyu was a prolific scholar in Ming Dynasty. His poetry criticism is unique and full of brilliant words. He insists that poetry creation should conform to the traditional idea of being ＂gentle and sincere＂, ＂consistent with content and spirit＂ and form its own characteristics. These poetic ideas are reflected in his review of Du Lv Xuan.
