Intestinal microbiota are interdependent with human, and inseparable from the nutrition, body infection, immunity and metabolism, and they play a very important role in prevention and treatment of certain diseases. Intestinal flora have variability, and their species and quantity are affected by genetic and environmental factors; environmental factors include host health status and lifestyle. Lifestyle is closely related to the occurrence and development of metabolic diseases, and changes of intestinal flora are associated with the occurrence and development of these metabolic diseases. We reviews the effects of exercise on the metab- olism of body and changes of intestinal flora under different metabolic states.
