It is becoming evident that interdisciplinary research is popular in translation research. For example, the schema theory originated from psychology is valuable for the perception of translation process. Thus,taking Xiangxi national culture tourism text as an example, combining theory with practice, and using cognitive schema theory, the paper comprehends the original text and expounds the expression of the translated text in the translation process, and it also makes a mechanism analYsis and application research in aspects of language schema, content schema and structure schema, which aims at improving the quality of translation and making contributions to expanding and spreading Xiangxi national culture.
