基于翻译工作坊平台的START翻译实训模式研究与实践

A Study and Practice of START Model of Translation Practical Training Based on Translation Workshop

START翻译实训模式是由翻译教师、学生和职业译员共同参与翻译实训的实践教学模式。该模式基于翻译工作坊平台,通过将参训学生置身于真实的翻译工作情境(Situation),给学生布置真实或模拟的翻译项目(Task),让学生模仿业内翻译流程开展项目翻译实践(Action),在规定的时间内合作完成翻译项目,并提交翻译文本(Result),最终实现翻译实训目标(Target)。通过实证研究,发现该模式有助于增强学生翻译学习的兴趣、提高学生翻译实践能力和团队合作意识,为他们今后从事职业翻译工作打下坚实基础。

START model of translation practical training is a teaching model engaged by teachers, students and professional translators. This model is based on the translation workshop, in which teachers put students in the real translation working situation, assign real or imitated translation task to students, enable them to work together on the task and submit the final translation result. Through these processes, the target of translation practical training is realized. By empirical study, it is concluded that this model can not only provoke students＇ interest in translation study and improve students＇ translation competence and teamwork awareness, but also lay a solid foundation for their future work as a translator.
