Research Progress of Risk Evaluation of Operation With Anesthesia Using Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing

Cardiopulmonary exercise testing（ CPET） can be used to evaluate risk of operation with anesthesia,peak oxygen consumption and anaerobic threshold are the two commonly used indicators. CPET can assess the risk of operation with anesthesia and guide the operation process,patient management and postoperative outcome. CPET is a holistic method which can check cardiopulmonary metabolism,and can reflect the whole process of metabolism and transport of oxygen from the lung to skeletal muscle,so CPET is a necessary complement to conventional static cardiovascular and pulmonary function test.
