An Essay on the Archaeological Strata and "Occupation Surfaces"

本文主要通过对考古学地层的形成过程与古代人类生活地面(使用面)的简要分析,来说明二者在田野考古实践中的区别与联系,以及正确认识这一关系的必要性。

Through terse analyses to the forming processes of the archaeological cultural layers and the living floors （occupation surfaces） of the ancient people, this paper described the differences and relationships between these two kinds of features in the practice of archaeological fieldwork and the necessity to correctly recognize them.
