摘要
在当今人文社科研究领域,动态系统理论用得越来越广泛,却未见用于语言测试反拨效应研究。本文在简介动态系统理论核心观点的基础上,分析和论证这一理论用于反拨效应研究的合理性和必要性。分析表明,反拨效应产生的过程具有动态系统的主要特征,借鉴动态系统理论和方法来研究反拨效应,将改变传统研究思维,能更全面阐释反拨效应产生的机理,也能为深化反拨效应研究打开新的空间,还能为解决应试教育问题提供新的思路。
The Dynamic Systems Theory (DST) is gaining popularity in humanity studies nowadays. How- ever, little research has been found in its application to the study of language test washback. Following an introduction to the basic tenets of DST, this paper sets out to justify the use of the theory to enquiry into washback. Analysis shows that washback bears features that tally with the dynamic systems and therefore drawing on the DST to study washback is highly justified. Research along this line is innovative and condu- cive to a better understanding of the mechanism relating to the generation of washback effect. Further- more, DST-based research has the potential to move forward washback studies and contribute to mitiga- ting the negative effects associated with teaching to the test.
