In order to construct socialism in China, Mao Zedong probed into the theory of economy of socialism, and gained a lot of achievements, which enriched and developed Marxism-Leninism, laid a theory foundation for opening a path for the construction of economy of socialism with Chinese features.Deng Xiaoping inherited and developed Mao Zedong Thought, created the theory of the primary stage of socialism, theory of the essence of socialism and theory of market economy of socialism, which point out a successful way of constructing socialism with Chinese features.Jiang Zemin further enriched and developed Deng Xiaoping Theory, especially the theory of socialist ownership system and distribution system of socialism.pointing out the direction of developing Chinese socialism in an all-round way in the 21st century.
