The American Women's Education,Self Reliance and Social Activities in the Chinese Concept in the Late Qing Dynasty and the Early Republic of China

清末民初是中国社会发生急剧变革的时期,先进的中国人在探索民族国家出路的道路上又有了新的感悟和认知,不少人日渐认识到女子教育、女子品性和生存状况对社会发展的重要意义。他们认识到美国女子在这些方面与当时的中国有很大的不同,他们在深入梳理美国女子生存状态的基础上,对中国女子的状况进行了剖析和反思,提出了一些在当时看来颇有进步意义的观点。
