摘要
本文首先介绍概念与概念性迁移的定义和分类,通过和语言相对论、即时思维假说对比说明概念性迁移假说能更充分地解释跨语言影响。文章进而从概念迁移和概念化迁移两部分详细探讨了概念性迁移的主要研究方法言语性任务和非言语性任务,指出当前仍需探索强有力的方法来证明概念性迁移的存在。本文有助于厘清相关术语、理论与方法,并为从概念层面优化我国外语教学提供参考。
After providing a detailed picture of the definitions and classifications of concept and conceptual transfer, this paper states that the conceptual transfer hypothesis, in contrast to the linguistic relativity and thinking for speak- ing hypothesis, is more appropriate in the construal of crosslinguistic differences. It then explores the methodological issues by highlighting concept and conceptualization, and points out that verbal and nonverbal tasks are the two main methods in conceptual transfer research. It also demonstrates that more robust methods are needed to produce more compelling evidence for conceptual transfer. A revisit of conceptual transfer research can enhance our understanding of the related terms, theories and methods, and will provide theoretical and practical implications for China's foreign language teaching and research in respect of concept.
