As the representative form of folk dancing in Gannan Hakka area, Gannan Tea Picking Opera has been taught in the u- niversity folk dancing class. It is important to present the Gannan Tea Picking Opera clown in the teaching and research process, ob- serving the laws of teaching and preserving its original artistic. The paper begins with folk artists, illustrates the cultural characteristics of Gannan Tea Picking Opera clown, expounds Gannan Tea Picking Opera clown teaching content of Chen Binmao, a folk artist, and aims to explore the significance of inviting the folk artists to the university folk dancing class.
