On Spacial Measurement and Threshold of Level of Production Technology and Economic Density

本文基于2000-2013年省域面板数据,利用空间面板回归和门限面板回归模型考察了生产技术水平对经济密度的空间溢出及非线性冲击,研究结果显示:经济密度呈空间正自相关性,生产技术水平呈空间负自相关性但不显著,经济密度和生产技术水平分布并非是随机的,而是存在着较强的空间集散性特征,技术水平对经济密度的作用存在溢出效应,这在某种程度上为经济密度与技术水平在空间上的非均衡分布提供了解释。同时,生产技术水平对经济密度的作用存在着非线性效应,生产技术水平对经济密度的作用弹性随生产技术水平的提高而递减。

Based on the 2000-2013 provincial panel data, the spatial spillover and nonlinear impact of the po- duction technical level to the economic density are explored sion models in the paper. The results of the study show that： by space panel regression and threshold panel regres- Sp^ial self - correlations of the economic density were significant and positive, Spatial self - correlations of the level of production technology were negative and not sig- nificant. The distribution of the economic density and the level of production technology were not random, but there was a significantly spatial agglomeration and discrete characteristics. There were spillover effects for the tech- nical level promoting economic density, which explains that there was unbalanced space - distribution in certain degree about the economic density and the technical level. At the same time, there was the nonlinear impact effects the technical level promoting economic density, The elasticity which the level of production technology promoted the economic density would go trend lower with the rising of the level of production technology.
