中国共产党形象建设面临的机遇与挑战

The Opportunities and Challenges of Image Construction Faced by the CPC

党的十八大以来,以习近平同志为总书记的党中央治国理政的新理念新实践和深入推进党的建设新的伟大工程的新思想新举措,推动了中国共产党形象建设进入新的阶段。我国经济的快速发展、人民生活水平的稳步提高和党风廉政建设的不断加强,为有效提升中国共产党的形象提供了宝贵的机遇。与此同时,主流意识形态的弱化、历史虚无主义的蔓延和反腐败斗争的严峻形势也给党的形象塑造和提升带来不容忽视的挑战。中国共产党必须着力提升自身的廉洁形象、历史形象、价值观形象以及党员队伍的个体形象,从而为全面提升党的形象奠定坚实的基础。

With Xi Jinping as general secretary, the new ideas and practice of governing China under the leadership of the CPC as well as the new thoughts and measures that further advance the new great project of the CPC＇s construction, all of these have promoted the image construction of the CPC into a new stage since the Eighteenth National Congress of the CPC. The rapid development of China＇s economy, the steady improvement of people＇s living standard and the continuous strengthenment of improving the CPC＇s work style and building incorrupt government, all above have provided invaluable opportunities for improving the image of the CPC effective- ly. At the same time, the weakening of the mainstream ideology, the spread of historical nihilism, the severe situation of the struggle a- gainst corruption, also have brought challenges that couldn＇t be ignored to shape and improve the image of the CPC. The CPC must strive to improve the incorrupt image of its own, the image of history, the image of the values and the individual image of Party mem- bers in order to lay a solid foundation for comprehensive improvement of the image of the CPC.
