Reflected Appraisals VS. Self-Appraisals?The Clarifications of the Underlying Logics of Identity Discrepancy Theory

认同分裂理论作为近年来认同理论下属的新兴理论发展方向之一,是对社会学路径的社会心理学、精神健康社会学以及人格心理学三个学科领域交叉综合的尝试,对于通过角色认同和认同分裂过程来预测不同类型的精神健康结果具有重要的理论意义。但是此理论在试图融合认同控制理论与自我分裂理论时过于强调反射性评价对个体自我概念的决定性作用,而忽视了个体基于角色认同的现实自我评价的重要性,从而使其理论逻辑产生了一定的模糊性。通过澄清反射性评价与个体自身的现实自我评价之间的动态关系,可以进一步清晰呈现认同分裂理论的潜在整合逻辑。这种澄清不仅有利于我们准确理解认同分裂理论与其源理论概念之间的逻辑关系,更论证了在认同分裂理论经验检验中反射性评价以外的其他输入类型的合理性和必要性,从而进一步提升其理论预测力。

Based on the clarification of the key concepts and logical structures of Identity Control Theory （ICT）, Self-Discrepancy Theory （SDT）, and Identity Discrepancy Theory （IDT）, the purpose of this paper is to focus on a missing logical step in IDT, i. e. , the individual＇s actual self-appraisals for his/her role identities, to make a reintegration between ICT and SDT. Specifically, through clarifying the dynamic relationship between reflected appraisals and actual self-appraisals, the paper illustrates the underlying logical process of IDT in integrating ICT and SDT. This clarification on one hand will help readers understand the logical relationships between IDT and its theoretical sources and on the other hand justify the inclusion of multiple input types in the empirical examination of IDT to further improve its oower of theoretical nrediction.
