Solve Developing Countries' Education Issues through the Power of Cooperation——Comment on the Education Policy and Data Center(EPDC) in United States

在美国宾夕法尼亚大学近年公布的《全球智库报告》关于教育领域的顶级智库排名中,教育政策和数据中心(Education Policy and Data Center,简称为EPDC)一直位于前列。作为少数集中关注发展中国家教育问题的智库之一,教育政策和数据中心的使命就是促进发展中国家教育水平的提高。本刊特约记者通过文献法和访谈法等多种途径,从其运行概况、研究脉络以及近期研究重点等几个方面进行评述,以期对我国教育智库建设和发展有所启示。

In the top think-tank ranking on the field of education of the （（Global Go To Think Tanks Report）） released by the University of Pennsylvania recent years, the Education Policy and Data Center （EPDC） has been in the forefront. As one of the few Think Tanks giving focus on developing countries education issues, the EPDC＇s mission is to promote the improvement of education level in developing countries. Through several approaches like literature method and interview method, our special correspondent makes a comment on various aspects such as the general operation of the Think Tanks, the research context, and the research focus etc. in order to provide enlightenments for the construction and development of an education think-tank in China.
