阴火良方之引火汤求真刍议

Discussion of Yinhuo Decoction Which is the Better Prescription of Yin-huo

陈士铎的引火汤作为临床良方而为世医所推崇。然对于其主治世人却多以为是阴虚火旺之证。究其原因主要是陈士铎在《辨证录》中认为它善治阴虚火旺导致的阴蛾证,而后世医家亦传而承之。诚然,此方之药确有滋阴之效,但据相关文献和临床实践表明,阳虚阴火之证或许能更好地解释引火汤的引火归原之功。而其引火之功在临床对于治疗阳虚所致皮肤病方面疗效尤为突出,故此方此法值得在临床特别是在治疗皮肤性疾病方面进行推广。

As an extraordinary medicine,Yin Huo Soup created by CHEN Shi-duo is specially praised. It is primarily for the treatment of excessive Fire Syndrome,resulting from Yin-deficiency. What might account for the phenomenon is that CHEN Shi-duo claimed that Yin Huo Soup is created for treating someone for excessive Fire syndrome caused by Yindeficiency. The vast majority of people are firmly convinced of what Chen Siduo said. There is no dispute that this medicine serves to nourish yin. Nevertheless,referring to related literature and observing clinical practice,it showed that Yin Huo Soup is profitable treatment for excessive Fire syndrome caused by Yang-deficiency. And it is the better account for this effect of the fire supposed to the Yin Huo Soup. Furthermore,if we apply Yin Huo Soup to skin disease,we would find this phenomenon to be even more pronounced. Therefore,this method is worth being broadly applied in clinical treatment,especially in the skin diseases.
