助学贷款对中国第一代大学生学业发展的影响 被引量:17

The Impact of Student Loans on the Academic Development of the First Generation of College Students in China

摘要 助学贷款扩大了中国第一代大学生的高等教育参与和入学机会,但是否促进了其学业发展,需要精确评估。将倍差法(DID)和倾向得分匹配法(PSM)相结合,对助学贷款影响第一代大学生学业发展进行分析。结果表明,助学贷款未能改善第一代大学生的学习成绩,反而增加了他们的偿债压力,刺激他们提早进入劳动力市场就业的需求;学生贷款增加了第一代大学生的课外打工时间,而在学习时间上并没有变化。这一研究发现为助学贷款政策的进一步优化提供了可资借鉴的经验证据。 Student loans have expanded the participation and admission opportunities of higher education for the first generation of college students in China. However, has it improved the first generation of college students' academic development? We need to accurately evaluate this problem. The Paper analyzed the student loans influence on the academic development of the first generation of college students, with the combination of Difference-in-Difference (DID) and Propensity Score Matching (PSM). Research found that student loans have failed to improve college students' academic performance, have increased the students' repayment pressure, and have stimulated students to the employment as soon as possible; the student who gets student loans significantly has increased their extracurricular work time, while the arrangement of the study time hasn't been significantly changed. These findings provide reliable empirical evidence for further optimization of student loan policy.
