摘要 《李尔王》剧本中包含大量动物意象,承载着作者丰富的情感。莎士比亚通过这些不同的动物意象,不仅展示了自然世界和人类世界混乱、罪恶的末日图景,而且让读者看到了人性的光辉和末世的希望之光。 King Lear is one of the outstanding tragedies of Shakespeare which critics pay more attention to.It contains rich animal imagery in the play which shows a full range of emotion.Through the different animal imagery,Shakespeare depicts a tragic scene of the doomsday in both natural world and human world.Moreover,it reveals the flame of man＇s humanity and leaves hope in the century＇s end.
