青岛全力打造青少年帆船运动新风尚

Qingdao Spares No Efforts in Building the New Fashion of Youth Sailing

帆船运动一直被视为一项能够培养青少年意志、身体素质,锻炼自理自立能力,提升青少年团队协作能力的运动,在青岛已经被越来越多的家庭接受。随着全市大中小学暑期的到来,青岛市青少年帆船培训活动正如火如荼地开展。作为青岛市＂帆船运动进校园＂活动的重要活动,2016年青岛市青少年帆船培训于日前正式启动。

Since 2006,Qingdao has launched the 'Promoting Sailing in Schools' in primary and high schools and institutions of higher learning across the city,with a view to driving longlasting proceeding of youth sailing,and laying a solid foundation for realizing the strategic goal of building the city brand, 'Sailing City'.Through 11 years of unremitting efforts,Qingdao has integrated social resources and technical strengths in education,sports,scientific research,businesses,and clubs,comprehensively launched the activity of 'Promoting Sailing in Schools',established a long-lasting mechanism for youth sailing including 'four systems' and 'one construction',and formed the development layout featuring government domination,society support,and widespread participation of the youth.Over the past 11 years,more than 20 teenagers have joined Shandong sailing team,and more than 200 have joined Qingdao sailing team,with 2 persons winning the honor of world top-notch player,over 60 national first grade athlete,and over 100 national second grade athlete.Among them,players recommended through campus activities have won national championships for several times,and ranked 9^(th) at the Optimist European Championship 2013.The continuous emergence of youth sailing talents in Qingdao has added more connotation to the city brand of 'Sailing City'.
