技能大赛是培养技术技能人才的重要载体,是职业院校办学实力、教学质量、文化底蕴的比拼。技能大赛彰显了职业教育的优势,提升了职业院校承办赛项的能力,因此赛项设置应服务于国家战略和经济发展的新常态,应将重点放在比赛内容与产业前沿技术对接上,服务于"一带一路"国家战略,培养有国际视野的高技术人才;同时应与世界职业技能大赛接轨,提升技能人才的社会地位;突出技术创新,提升选手的可持续发展能力,要有利于中高职衔接,有利于选手自我空间的发展;突出高、新、特和民族性,展现地域风采。

Skills competition is important not only for training technical and skilled talents but for measuring strength, quality and culture among vocational colleges. The competition highlights the advantages of vocational education and enhances abilities to host the competition. Therefore, setting items of the competition should serve national strategy and economic development under the new normal, focus on matching competition contents with frontier technologies, keep up with ＂The Belt and Road＂ strategy and cultivate high-tech talents with global outlook. Meanwhile, skills competition in China should integrate with international competitions, promote skilled talents＇ social status, highlight technological innovation, push contestants＇ capacity for sustainable development, help the link between secondary and higher vocational education, improve the growth of contestant＇s self-development and outstand the advanced, innovative and special character with nationality and display the regional style.
