摘要
文章将图书馆社会教育事业在近代的发展历程分为萌芽、探索和发展三个阶段,通过对各个阶段政府的支持政策、各种教育思潮、图书馆运动、教育家和图书馆学家的相关论述,对图书馆社会教育的历史进程进行全面的解读,并对近代图书馆社会教育不同发展阶段的特点进行分析,进一步揭示近代图书馆社会教育的发展规律和基本经验。
In this paper, the social education cause in modem libraries was divided into three stages, which were germination, exploration and development. By exploring governmentsr support policies, educational trends, library movements, and discussions of educators and librarians in each stage, the paper presented comprehensive studies of the development history of the social education in modern libraries. The characteristics of each stage were also analyzed, hence revealing laws of development and basic experience of the social education in modern libraries.
