On the Trial Construction of Living Library in west China Universities

以人为书,面对面阅读"活书"的真人图书馆这一新颖的借阅方式,目前已在全国各大高校普及并开展起来,作为舶来品的真人图书馆在其现实移植与引入中往往会出现一些问题并经历一定的挑战。然而,其发展趋势及其对学术和知识领域的促进、创新作用都是不言而喻、贡献颇大的。因此突破其发展中的瓶颈,找到问题与对策,并结合西部地区自身的特色与优势,尝试并建立好西部地区高校的真人图书馆,自然有其重要的价值和意义。

Living library, a kind of new library in which human is taken as a book and can be read face- to- face, has become popular among Chinese universities. Problems crop up in the course of borrowing this new library, and the library goes through certain challenges. In spite ofthese problems, it is evident that this library contributes a lot to academics and knowledge field. Therefore, it is significant ifwe tackle the obstacles to the development and attempt to construct living libraries in the west China universities based on their own actualities.
