The Theory of the Power of the Satanical School of Poetry in the View of Literary Criticism History

国内学者评价《摩罗诗力说》的价值和意义,主要依据鲁迅在"总论""结论"中提出的观点。至于其中哪些是鲁迅独创的,哪些是他"拿来"的,则往往语焉不详。日本学者虽偶有论及,却仅限于个案研究。事实上,"总论""结论"中那些被认定为鲁迅独创的观点,大多见于明治时期日本学者的论著及随笔。而鲁迅的见解,主要体现在对这些观点的取舍。如果对此缺乏了解,则很难对《摩罗诗力说》的价值和意义作出恰如其分的评价。

Chinese scholars mainly rely on Lu Xun's opinions which are brought out in the 'introduction'and'conclusion'to evaluate the theory of the power of the Satanical School of Poetry.They often do not point out which views are Lu Xun's original ideas and which views are borrowed by him. Although few Japanese scholars discuss this matter,they limit their studies to a small number of exceptional cases. Most of these discussions can be seen in the scholarly works and literary notes in the Meiji era. Lu Xun turns out to extract his ideas from these Japanese scholars' discussions. It would be difficult for us to evaluate the theory of the power of the Satanical school of poetry if we do not apprehend the origin of Lu Xun's opinions.
