On Modern Novelist's Poetry Creation for the Press

近代以来,报刊诗话得到了长足发展,近代小说家,尤其是鸳蝴派作家的创作产生了重要推动作用。鸳蝴派作家群是过渡型知识阶层的典型代表,他们在产出大量小说的同时,也创作了许多诗话作品。据统计,1870—1919年,至少有25位小说家(含小说理论批评家)创作了近55种报刊诗话作品,对报刊诗话的发展产生了重要影响。

In modern times,press poetry has made great progress, in which modern novelists especially Yuanhu School’s creation actually played an important role. Yuanhu writers are typical representatives of the transition of the intellectual class. They produced a large number of novels and also created many works of poetry at the same time. According to a survey,there are at least 24novelists（ including critics of novel） who created nearly 55 kinds of press poetry from 1870 to 1919,and has exerted important influence on the development of press poetry.
